Like I said, this post has even more pictures and details on how I organized this room! This project wasn’t easy and the “during” certainly wasn’t pretty, but so worth every minute spent! Here are a few tips for the week if you are working on your laundry space.
This lightbulb spot was a disaster for years after we built our house! I’m not scared to enter anymore. Saves both of us many trips up and down the stairs. So good right!? I still love opening this cupboard and seeing all of my labeled bins!Įverything in this spot just makes sense now! Especially having Kole’s swimsuits here so he can wear them out to swim and then I can wash them and toss them back in this bin. Having ALL candles and candle holders in this room made decorating so much easier for me this past holiday season!Īnd you all know how strongly I feel about a well organized spot for batteries. I also created a spot for all of the candles I use for decorating. I gifted a lot of these this year and now have room for more. I finally set aside a week to work on it and I’m so grateful I did! I’ve been able to keep it organized ever since and now this space is so functional and full of useful storage for our family. When we designed our house I was excited to have all of the extra storage in this space, but I quickly realized that more space just meant more room for piles and clutter! This laundry room became a total dumping ground and was a catch all hot spot in our home for years. You might remember last year when I did a complete overhaul on our main floor laundry room.
